Progress..

PHP has proved to be testing. Martin and Richie went back and forth and finally they got the log in working.  It took a while because you have to have all the programmes talking to each other and one was just not working but they got it in the end.  Niamh has finished the audio and videos and shane is flying away at the programming.  We are progressing fast and with everybody’s team effort we will ready on time.  Things are looking good..

Exhibition

We are setting about doing the exhibition.  We will be situated in the garden.  We will design our set so it reflects our game. We will have everything set up by 5pm the 1st of june.  The project has to be handed up for wednesday the 30th of May.  The exhibition runs from the 6th of june until the 8th of june.  The set design will be colorfully painted.  We are pushing forward with the project and hoping it all runs smoothly so we can get started on the exhibition..

PHP

Php is a major part of our game so the user can have a log-in and in the demo the lecturers said we needed it and that it would make our game.  Richie and Martin are at it but it is very difficult.  There are so many things that get in the way.  Richie and martin had it working earlier but it is not working now again.  We are hoping to get that going soon but time is ticking so we are going to push along and hope for the best.

Programming

The programming is coming along nicely.  There has been last minute changes of the graphics, audio and programming.  There is also videos been made to put on the television, this will have information of the continent the user is on with a voiceover.  We have found that the changes the lecturers told us to make in the demo were good and are proving to be worthwhile.  Shane is flying at the programming, its a tedious task so it will take a while.  Its a last week or two cram but with all our heads together we will hopefully get there..

Shane got the log in, it was hard but he thought back to when we done a log in programming last semester and followed on from there..

We are trying to do the php log in but it is proving very difficult.  We have searched online for tutorials.  Martin and Richie are having a go at it together.
